This accident from last summer
https://app.ntsb.gov/pdfgenerator/Repor ... L&IType=CA
... is really odd for a number of reasons:
1. 127 total hours in all aircraft, 127 hours PIC? So he got his license somehow without having any non-PIC time? I'm thinking incomplete pilot logbook.
2. Hesitation in the engine response? Does the AE300 have a response lag? I know from experience in last second go-arounds the IO-360 does not. I wouldn't expect any piston engine to lag. Is this true?
3. Density altitude of 2,000 ft. a factor? Huh? The engine is turbocharged, and it's determined that a solo pilot produces a load that contributes to a problem at a mere 2,000 ft???
4. Incipient stall-spin. Likely no rudder usage, with p-factor coming into play. Also the higher stall speeds of the NG probably played into it.
5. Looks like a guy somewhat recently getting back into flying after a hiatus - possibly medical related.

Re: Goofy accident report
I would say that the very first sentence gives away that the pilot was clueless.

Re: Goofy accident report
Correction: 2 aboard.
I figure since this was not a fatal accident, the report also got a superficial treatment. Bigger fish to fry.
