OK, for everyone who has asked for a listing of how to perform maneuvers in a DA42NG, I've attached it here (as a 7-page MS Word document that can be modified).
Note that this was created in 2013 before the FAA Commercial checkride transitioned from PTS to ACS, but the maneuvers are still the same.
There's one change however that's very important: In conducting a real engine shutdown (not simulated), DO NOT perform a windmilling restart by pitching nose down and just turning on the Engine Master -- Diamond/Austro have subsequently determined that this may damage the engine's timing chain.
Instead, follow the alternate restart procedure that uses the engine's electric starter. You'll need to first pitch up to slow/stop the propeller, and then (when the blades are stopped) turn the Engine Master ON and apply the starter. (Don't get below 85 knots, since you're operating with asymmetrical thrust and need to avoid loss of directional control.)
