Here is WI-OSB 40-092. A few things to note:
- There is now a seal provided for the light fixture which I did not receive when I was provided with the replacement fixture.
- The OSB/WI does not address the issue that the unit does not quite fit into the pocket used by the original lights.
- Replacing the rear seat one is a bit more complicated but various details are provided.

Re: Overhead Light Air
That Work Instruction probably indicates the solution to my air leak problem. I've never noticed air coming through the light fittings, but I get a lot around the rear door jettison handle. The photos show a foam seal around the handle that isn't present on mine. No doubt that piece of foam costs way more than it should, though....
Thanks Rich

Incidentally, I made the request of Diamond for this WI this morning and it showed up in less than 30 minutes

Re: Overhead Light Air
My plane has the same issue, lots of air leakage around the rear door emergency handle. I first noticed it in -15C, but the heater in the DA40NG is so strong that it was never really an issue. And the other 10mo of the year, it's welcome!greg wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 8:58 pm That Work Instruction probably indicates the solution to my air leak problem. Re: Overhead Light Air
Definitely. I was considering replacing one of these lights and checked on the current pricing: ~$800 each.
