I'm 62.288 so further up the assembly line. No idea if there'd be any paint on it yet, but I went with the Light Sunset Orange over Anthracite.

We have an estimated completion on our 62 in October. Just a heads up for any Canadian orders: they cannot do the 6 seat with reclining seat option yet. Don't get your hopes up.

Not sure, but if a plane is ordered now I'm sure Canada will be up to speed in a couple years by the time they get to delivery.

Just a quick update following my visit to Wiener Neustadt last week. I was given the factory tour by the sales director and was taken through the production process from carbon cloth to final assembly. I was specifically told that I could not take any pictures which is a shame but to be respected. The quality of the workmanship is superb, a vehicle production line it is not! Everything is bespoke which is I guess why they do get the odd squawk post build. In the initial build hall the serials are currently in the 280's and at each stage the serials get lower. I don't think 288 would have reached paint yet but definitely in the initial composite build. I eventually caught up with my own aircraft 62.277 in the final assembly hall. It had engines and undercarriage but no cabin furniture or electronics. I am told it will ready mid April which is the original forecasted date from 2022. My dealer will do the acceptance testing and I will join them for the flight back to the UK. Mine will be going onto 2-REG which is the Channel Islands Register, which accepts both EASA and FAA certification for both aircraft and pilots allowing me to use my FAA IR immediately without the need for conversion. UK CAA is suffering with a lack of resource post Brexit and is offering a very poor service. I am sorry I could not offer specific updates or photos of any other aircraft. I did ask which model has the biggest order book especting it to be DA42 but in fact it is DA62 by a significant margin. The dealer was also collecting their brand new demo DA50, the finish product looked totally immaculate.
