over the past years, I have purchased 4 brand new DA 40's and did not receive the survey either.

Re: Customer Survey - Diamond Aircraft 2022
Responding to the survey in the context of being an owner of my ancient ‘02 DA40 was an interesting exercise. The survey is clearly oriented to the more recent birds - hence the manufacture year selection starting at 2008. So as it asks what I like about my plane and what I would desire to be changed I found myself sometimes responding in kind of a mixed way. This Is because the ship has sailed on producing the DA40 in the form I have. So in some cases I put a few things that mostly address what I see as negatives in the current line of Lyc-powered planes.
2002 DA40-180: MT, PowerFlow, 530W/430W, KAP140, ext. baggage, 1090 ES out, 2646 MTOW, 40gal., Surefly, Flightstream 210, Orion 600 LED, XeVision, Aspen E5

Just completed the survey - I don't think I got it directly either so thanks for the heads up!

I didn't get the survey, either -- and I've bought a used DA40 XLS, a new DA42-VI, and a new DA62.
Obviously one of Diamond's problems is that they literally "don't know who their customers are." That's one of the consequences of a distribution model where almost all new Diamond aircraft are sold indirectly via distributors, who are therefore Diamond's real "customers."

Re: Customer Survey - Diamond Aircraft 2022
Well even though I purchased my bird through a distributor Diamond no longer has authorized, Diamond has my email through their tech pub notification service. Didn't receive the survey either for my 2019 DA40 NG.

Re: Customer Survey - Diamond Aircraft 2022
Same here. Bought mine new in 2001, so 21 years ago, and have gotten regular emails about Tech pubs. Also communicated with Diamond Tech Support several times in my first few years of ownership (Warranty issues, technical questions, etc.), so they may have my email from that...ScottOHare wrote: ↑Mon Nov 14, 2022 9:20 pm Well even though I purchased my bird through a distributor Diamond no longer has authorized, Diamond has my email through their tech pub notification service. Didn't receive a Survey invite either, but filled one out anyway.

Re: Customer Survey - Diamond Aircraft 2022
This is what I did as well, and I would encourage anybody who was put off by the limited options to do this and fill out the survey even for pre-2008 aircraft.
It sounds like some distributors dropped the ball on notifying their customers about the survey. If you didn't get a survey directly, and you think you should have, I'd recommend contacting your current regional distributor (even if it's not the same one you used for your purchase) and ask to get on their list for future communications. This is obviously using a different channel than the tech pubs.

I bought a plane from Lifestyle, and have a DA62 on order, and did not receive the survey. It's not clear how this survey is being distributed.

Re: Customer Survey - Diamond Aircraft 2022
From the email, it sure sounds like it's supposed to go through the "sales partners", which I take to be the distributor network.
Please do consider that this survey has been sent to our sales partners upfront with the request to send it to their customer base as not all contact details may be up-to-date. We regret any inconvenience in case you receive it twice and, we are really looking forward to receiving your feedback.
