Owner declared EASA Part-ML AMPs for DA-42 - looking for experiences

Post by akosmaroy »

Hi,

I'm looking for people operating DA-42s with owner declared EASA Part-ML AMPs - what their experiences are, how is it going, what have they learned, what would they do differently based on what they know now :)

Any pointers, comments, opinions welcome :)

Salut Ákos,

it's certainly a good idea to use a template rather than reading through all of the legal documents and starting from scratch. Here is the one I have been using (I suppose you speak German): https://www.bwlv.de/technischer-betrieb ... e-ihp.html. You should also subscribe to Diamond's notification service for their technical publications in order to stay current on MSB, ADs and the likes: http://support.diamond-air.at/2617+M52087573ab0.html.

Initially I also bought a CAMO SW from ASA Datec https://asadatec.de/en/, but that didn't serve me too well and was quite expensive. For a single aircraft, you're probably better off doing it manually.

Any further questions, pls let me know.
