Yesterday I got email notification from Aviation.Support@garmin.com about
an error with early G1000 system software versions of 7.00 or greater.
The error results in an invalid System ID.
An invalid System ID can be identified as either being “00000000” or “20000000”.
I wonder if somebody has such problem on board Diamond DA 40/42NG?

I would suggest to check your System ID and see whether you are affected. Neither my own nor any other DA40/42 aircraft known to me have been affected.
